Steak Rub Sweet Potato Fries

  • 2 1/2 pounds medium-size sweet potatoes (substitute baking potatoes if you prefer)
  • 6 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Rub with Love Steak Rub
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Cut the sweet potatoes lengthwise into 1/2 - 3/4 inch thick wedges.
  3. Place in a  large bowl with the Steak Rub then toss with the oil.
  4. Divide between 2 baking sheets and spread evenly (be sure to get all the oil & spices from the bowl).
  5. Roast for 15-20 minutes, then turn the wedges and roast for approximately 15 minutes more until the potatoes are tender and nicely browned.
  6. Remove from oven and season to taste with salt & pepper.
  7. Serve immediately.
