Barbecued Pizza – so many options
Prepared pizza crust
Grilled and shredded chicken or pork
Mozzarella – sliced or shredded
Fire up the grill and clean to remove any debris or preheat your oven to 450-550 degrees F depending on the thickness of your crust. If you are going to use a pizza stone you will need to preheat that as well. Roll out your pizza crust and move to peel for sliding onto the grill. Brush the top of the crust with 1—2 teaspoons of olive oil. Slide the crust on the grill oil side down and cook to a golden brown (about 2 min). Brush the top with 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil and flip. Top with BBQ Sauce, veggies, chicken, cheese or any of your favorite toppings - don’t put it on too thick. Cook a few more minutes and remove from grill to rest before cutting.
